Clutch Look: Kate Moss Topshop Dress!
A perfect cap to a long week was the arrival of a familiar polka dotted package on Friday afternoon. It was my Kate Moss Topshop dress!

Both anxious and weary while preparing to slip it on in case it didn’t fit right, all nerves vanished as soon as I zipped it up.

To get the full ditsy effect, I paired it with white toeless knee-highs, mary jane pumps and sinched the waist with a belt:
- Daisy tea dress: Kate Moss for Topshop, £60 (about $120)
- Belt: The Limited, $7
- Toeless trouser socks: Nordstrom, $8
- Pumps: Steven, $120
Floral tea dresses are making quite the impression in spring/summer wardrobes. You don’t have to order from Topshop to dress the part, they can be purchased at Urban Outfitters, Zara and tons of vintage stores (check eBay!).

Clutch Look: Mix & Clash
After putting together this outfit, it became even more apparent that my style’s subconscience always craves quirky imperfections. Here are a bunch of random pieces that don’t necessarily match, but the ensemble works as a whole. That’s why mixing and “clashing” is so much fun…it doesn’t have to make sense as long as it’s done in good taste.
Speaking of quirky, I’m going to call myself out for the three hair bands I continuously wear on my right wrist. What the heck? Am I expecting to need them for tri-pig-tails or something? No…I just simply forget they are there. I am always losing hair bands, so I tend to over compensate by putting them on my wrist everytime I recover a lost one.

This is also posted in FabSugar’s lookbook.
What am I wearing?
- Scarf: Urban, $18
- Tee: Free People, $40

Clutch Look: Up to my Knees in Grey
After my post on legwear last week, I’ve been dying to test out my own Cher Horowitz Clueless look. I’m loving knee highs right now since they are a great segway from tights moving into spring (and summer for those of us up here in cold Seattle).
For my fellow FabSugar obsessed, I also posted this in the lookbook.

It’s so much fun mixing and matching different pieces to create fresh looks. In the outfit above, I’m wearing an old skirt I bought last year at Marshall’s hiked up and belted to make a flirty, short strapless dress.
Tip: Take advantage of versatile staples in your wardrobe to create different variations of a similar look by adding and removing these pieces. Here are a few examples for this outfit:

What am I wearing?
- Dress/skirt: Marshall’s (it’s actually a skirt), $25
- Belt: Martin & Osa, $38
- Knee highs: Target, $3
- Patent pumps: Jeffrey Campbell, $125
- Blouse: Old Navy, $15
