Lipstick Jungle’s Bonfire Mag: A Virtual Reality
I have to admit I was a little partial to Cashmere Mafia when I first started watching Lipstick Jungle (probably b/c it premiered first). Now that I’ve gotten to know the characters more, it’s really starting to grow on me. Especially fashion designer, Victory Ford!

NBC seems to have an edge on ABC when it comes to the rival shows. While ABC’s Cashmere Mafia has Sex & the City producer, Darren Star, on board, NBC’s Lipstick Jungle was written by none other than the woman who gave birth to Carrie Bradshaw’s story, Candace Bushnell.

On the show, Nico Reilly (Kim Raver) is the Editor in Chief of the magazine, and now it’s a virtual reality that ties into the show’s storyline.
The icing on the cake is Project Runway alum and Season 2 finalist, Daniel Vosovic oversees all the fashion content.

Though the content of the virtual mag can’t compete with the fierce realities brought to us by the Vogues and InStyle’s of the world, I’m impressed with NBC’s move to cater to the interactive trends us Gen-Yers go crazy for!
Apparently, ABC seems to agree. Cashmere Mafia now too has its own E-magazine. If only they’d start showing new episodes…

All that said, I need to give a little love to Lucy Liu and her ADORABLE character on Cashmere Mafia. Hands down, she wins my vote for best dressed between the two shows.
