Clutch Look: Mix & Clash
After putting together this outfit, it became even more apparent that my style’s subconscience always craves quirky imperfections. Here are a bunch of random pieces that don’t necessarily match, but the ensemble works as a whole. That’s why mixing and “clashing” is so much fun…it doesn’t have to make sense as long as it’s done in good taste.
Speaking of quirky, I’m going to call myself out for the three hair bands I continuously wear on my right wrist. What the heck? Am I expecting to need them for tri-pig-tails or something? No…I just simply forget they are there. I am always losing hair bands, so I tend to over compensate by putting them on my wrist everytime I recover a lost one.

This is also posted in FabSugar’s lookbook.
What am I wearing?
- Scarf: Urban, $18
- Tee: Free People, $40
- Skirt: The Limited, $21
- Trouser socks: Nordstrom, $8
- Gold wedges: Bebe, $120

I like the skirt and the gold wedge. They are both really cute. Isn’t this season about mixing and matching? I think the bottom pic would look fabulous with a turquoise necklace or bracelet to pop the outfit.
