Clutch Look: Golden Locks Tweaked with Teal
I’ve always loved experimenting with my hair, but my fine/fragile strands can’t withstand constant color switches.
After deciding my look needed a little more edge, I thought it might be fun to add a few teal asymmetrical highlights (one of my fav colors this season). Along with the teal peak-a-boos, I got a full foil to freshen up my blonde tones for spring. Funny story about the teal dye my stylist used - it’s Manic Panic and I actually have the same kind at my parents’ house from highschool days (it’s the only kind of blue my hair would take)!
For those in the Seattle area, I highly recommend Erin at Seven Salon in Bellevue Square. She’s fun, edgy, accurate and quick…everything you could ask for in a stylist! It’s always a good sign if he/she is also an artist (thinking about one of my long time friends, Shae…amazing artist and stylist).
**Special thanks to my colleague, Liz for introducing me to Erin’s talents!

Good for you for being adventureous. I don’t think I can dye my hair with streaks of teal. But it looks cool on you. My stylist usually had to twist my arms into trying something new.
Oh wow I like it, it’s nice and subtle!
I’m so jealous, I really wish my job would allow bright streaks. I need to order some clip-in kind!
