Written in the Stars…
Today is one of my BFF’s bdays and since she’s obsessed with stars…I’m dedicating this post to her. Happy 23rd Birthday Nichelle!
Rather than telling you how and why stars are a trend this season, I thought I’d share some polyvore inspiration including the set below I specially made for Nichelle.
Here are some fun starry sets from other Polyvore players…

Verdict: LnA Zipper Leggings
For those of you who remember my post from March about LnA’s Zipper Leggings, you’ll know I’ve been anxiously waiting to get my hands on a pair. My first pair arrived in the mail last Friday…just in time for the weekend!

Below are a few tidbits you wouldn’t know just by looking at them online:
The Fit…
- Sizing is very similar to other brands, but the leggings are very low rise. I suggest sizing up if you have a booty
- The waist has a thick band which avoids any sort of unflattering pinching
The Fabric…
- The texture is smooth and somewhat shiny kind of like a swimsuit
- If you dare to wear leggings as pants, these are the perfect pair b/c they aren’t the least bit see-through and the shine elongates the legs

How I Wore Them…
Look 1:
- T-shirt dress: AA
- Leggings: LnA zipper in midnight
- Gladiators: Nine West
- Black belts/headbands: AA
- (Dog: One of my two chihuahuas, Olive!)

Look 2:
- T-shirt dress: AA
- Short sleeve cardi: Gap
- Leggings: LnA zipper in midnight
- Gold wedges: Bebe
- Gold belt: Fossil
- (Friend: Jess looking bright and fabulous!)

Where to buy…
- Lisa Kline (use code LUCKY for 25% off through June 30)
- Shopbop
- Singer22
- Boutique to You (use code WTF20 for 20% off)
- National Jean Company (use code GRECHEN for 20% off)
- Lee Lush
Who else has been seen wearing LnA’s zipper leggings? Kourtney Kardashian looks adorable in hers, but does anyone else find Paris looking the Tinman?

I’ve been desperately trying to attend a Crave party for a couple of years, but schedule conflicts have always got in the way…until now! If you’re among Seattle’s fashion-obsessed like me, you should definitely check out Crave this Sunday, June 1 at Seattle Center.
This year’s attendees include Clutch Seattle, Les Amis and Spa Scotta among other fab local companies.
Tickets are $15 if you purchase them online before the party (link below). Hope to see you there!

Not in Seattle? Check the Crave website to see if they’re coming to a city near you!

Men’s Fashion: Crossover Ties
After various requests, I am excited to bring you my first men’s dedicated post.
In my daily browsings in the Fashion Spot’s “What are you wearing today” thread, I was so intruiged by this look from Neo (also known as Phaelan in the men.style.com forums):
I love the whole ensemble, but I was especially captivated by the unsnapped continental tie. I’m going to try this with some of my collared shirts…talk about fashionspiring!
Where else have we seen the crossover tie? Not exactly fashionable in the past…
