Clutch Look: All Buckled Up
Remember the vest I mentioned in yesterday’s outfit…here it is again, accept I really wore it all day today.
I’m getting really sick of my wardrobe lately so until I do a little more shopping, I’ll keep pulling from the back of my closet to see what I can do.

Wearing:
- Tee: AA
- Vest: Metropark
- Belt: Martin & Osa
- Cropped pants: Forever 21
- Pumps: Steven
Theme of the day? Buckles and lots of ‘um.

Clutch Look: Witchin’
Raining in Seattle…in July. <sigh> Feeling a little dark because of the weather, I decided to whip out my “witch tights”, as my friend likes to call them, and pair them with an outfit that reminds me a little of witches and wenches.

Wearing:
- Top: Urban
- Vest: Metropark
- Skirt: Forever 21
- Tights: Macy’s
- Mary Janes: Jeffrey Campbell
Just to give a heads up about a debatable fashion no-no, I didn’t actually wear the vest with this outfit yesterday. I only put it on for the costume effect and am actually wearing it today with a different outfit. Stay tuned.
Fashion First Event in Seattle August 7
Next Thursday, August 7, Fashion First’s Ultimate Color Tour will take place at Lake Union Park Naval Reserve Building. Local boutique-favorites are on the line up including Clutch, Sway & Cake, and Canopy Blue, to name a few.
Tickets start at $40 and can be purchased here.

I don’t want to discriminate against other cities, but I gotta show Seattle some love for stepping it up in the fashion world (my heart is still with all you TFS-ers and Chictopians dispersed around the world).
Clutch Look: In With The Old
Wow, it’s amazing how great it feels to rediscover items in your wardrobe that have fallen off the radar.
I bought these green shoes while vacationing with friends in Vegas two years ago and hadn’t worn them in about a year…until now.

Wearing:
- Tank: Forever 21
- Hoodie: Nordstrom (from three years ago)
- Belt: Borrowed from the skirt it came with
- Jeans: Siwy
- Pumps: Chinese Laundry
Tribute To A Girl Who Always Inspires
Today is the birthday of my long time friend, unconditional supporter and part-time luva….minus the part-time luva part, Shae.

She’s a hair stylist and artist whose style and talent have inspired me since we took our first art class together almost a decade ago.

Not surprisingly, her boys have great hair too!
Happy B-day Shae J!
