One of my colleagues, Ian (aka Master of Social Media), caught my interest when he told me about these “furry glow leggings” a few months ago.  Upon arriving to work one day earlier this month, I noticed a pleasant, furry surprise waiting on my desk.

Designed by Martian Wear Clothing, they are basically a pair of black, furry legwarmers with built-in LED blinking lights. Initially, I wasn’t sure I could make them work in an outfit, but after trying a few different combinations, I realized they totally give the illusion of fur covered boots. Not so crazy after all, right?!

I decided to stick with a black color scheme and play with various textures to complement the fur covers, ranging from lace to latex.

While I don’t plan on using them for the lights, I can’t wait to wear them on an upcoming snowy vacay!
