PostHeaderIcon Giveaway #6: Fun And Fortune In The New Year

Congrats to reader, Kathy for winning Stylish Sunset Shopper Set. The winner of the Girls Night In gift will be announced in tomorrow’s post.

For the sixth Clutch giveaway, you might get to win…good luck, looser jeans and stylish travels in the new year:

For good luck, wear the Lucky in Bed fortune cookie necklace by Jess LC. It’s an adorable gift with a sassy story behind it as it plays on the fun tradition of adding “in bed” to the end of Chinese fortune cookie sayings. Featured in the Soc-Chic collection, a portion of all purchases for the necklace will be donated to a social cause (the designer features a different cause every month).

Thinking ahead to New Year’s resolutions (aka diet season), as your jeans become looser, just use your new set of Instant Buttons. For stylish travels, Passport Panties (by MMK) will not only provide you with cute new underwear, you’ll also get new passport cover!

To enter, leave a comment by 9PM Pacific tomorrow, December 23.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s giveaway!

**Special thanks to Jess for submitting the Lucky in Bed necklace, Dana Hanh Contey for the Instant Buttons and Ashley Beardon for the Passport Panties!

PostHeaderIcon Giveaway #5: Enjoy A Girls’ Night In

For the fifth Clutch giveaway, you might get to win…the makings for a fun girls’ night in:

When planning a night in with your BFF’s, what more do you need than good wine, tasty treats and a chick flick? This giveaway, valued at around $45-$50, should help get you started. The winner will receive an autographed copy of The Wine Club (by Maureen Christian Petrosky), which highlights fun wine facts and even includes recipes for yummy snacks. The book retails for about $18 and can be purchased at Amazon.

Speaking of snacks, the winner will also a receive a $15 gift certificate to SpreadShirt.com  where you can order a custom designed apron (I created an example of a cupcake recipe apron which is pictured above). Finally, you’ll get a DVD of The Holiday, so once you’re done cooking and learning about wine, you can kick back and veg out while watching the movie.

I had the chance to sample the wine featured in my gift guide by Seven Daughters and would highly recommend both the red and white blends. They’re unique in that each blend is made up of seven different grapes, hence the name Seven Daughters. You can purchase it for around $15 at Target, Whole Foods and WorldsGreatestWines.com.

To enter, leave a comment by 9PM Pacific tomorrow, December 22.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s giveaway!

**Special thanks to Amy Grosheider for submitting The Wine Club (and tasty samples of Seven Daughters wine). Also, Sam Mazzarelli and Julie Kepnes for coordinating the gift certificate for SpreadShirt.com!

PostHeaderIcon Giveaway #4: Stylish Sunset Shopper Set

Congrats to reader, Brooklyn for winning the Savvy Stocking Stuffers gift! The winner of The Debs and glam goody bag will be announced in the next post.

For the fourth Clutch giveaway, you might get to win…a Sunset Floral Shopper Set:

While I’ve never been a huge stationery buff (I prefer crafting my own concoctions), the Sunset Floral Shopper Set from FineStationery.com makes a lovely and useful gift. It  costs about $65 and comes with three vibrant, reusable shoppers and a corresponding notepad, allowing you to match your shopping list with your bags. The bags are larger than the ones I’ve seen elsewhere, with big enough straps to wear over your shoulder.

It’s also a way to give your stylish friend or family member an eco-friendly gift. I don’t know about other cities, but Seattle grocery stores might start charging for plastic bags in the near future.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s giveaway!

**Special thanks to Abby Rizen for coordinating and sending the shopper set!

PostHeaderIcon Giveaway #3: The Debs & Debutante Starter Kit

Thanks to all who entered the first two giveaways! Congratulations to reader, Vy for winning the Miss Oops Holiday Survival Kit. The winner of the Savvy Stocking Stuffers will be selected tonight and announced in the next post.

For the third Clutch giveaway, you might get to win…The Debs and goody bag of glam:

As described in my holiday guide, books make wonderful gifts. The Debs, by Susan McBride, features four Houston prep school seniors as they claw their way through their debutante season (think Gossip Girl with a Texas drawl). It’s recommended for readers beginning at age 13 or 14, but beyond that, just about any girl can enjoy it. As described in a recent New York Times Fashion & Style article, “Market Stalls But Spoiled Always Sells.

The winner of this giveaway will also receive a debutante starter kit (pictured above) that includes an array of glamorous goodies – princess crowns, a debutante rubber duck, pretend pearls, jewel rings, and more. Think back to themed birthday parties where everyone got a gift bag…if I could go back, my guests would get these! This kit would be a fun gift for a young tween or even as a silly present for one of your good friends’ birthdays.

To enter, leave a comment by 9PM Pacific tomorrow, December 20.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s giveaway!

**Special thanks to Susan McBride and her publicist, Elizabeth Johnson for donating the book and creating the goody bag!
