I Heart NY, I Heart SKLX
This morning I had a major fashion emergency. Though I have to admit, it was pretty funny. I got to the gym right next to my work and realized I left my dress hanging on the bedroom door at home. I carpooled today, so I was pretty much out of luck - just high heels, a pair of leggings and a zip up sweatshirt. I called my coworker/friend Shel to see if she could bring me something, but she had already left. A few minutes later she called me back to let me know she had an XL I Heart SK 3 (T-Mobile Sidekick 3) t-shirt I could wear. Better than nothing, right?

Coincidentally, my company is sending me to NYC this Sunday to help out with the new T-mobile Sidekick LX launch event and the phone was officially announced today. Appreciating the humor in today’s wardrobe malfunction, I stuck a post it note of “LX” next to the SK. After all, the SKLX is the reason I get to go to NY!
The new SKLX is a pretty sweet phone, especially if you’re a social media junkie like me - built in apps for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and others.

You are so funny! The fact that you didn’t just wear your zip-up sweatshirt without a shirt underneath, is what seperates me from you. I would have just worn that with the leggings and shoes!

Sara - Haha, I almost had to do it that way! The whole situation made me feel like one of those kids who wet their pants in school and had to change into clothes from the nurse’s office. Luckily I had the leggings, under garments and shoes.

OMG this is similar to what happened to me - my jeans ripped (like huge, unwearable rip) while I was trying to climb onto this stool that was wayyy too tall for me. There was a clothing donation bin outside and I had to wear baby blue velour sweatpants for the rest of the work day. Unfortunately, I didn’t come out looking as cute as you.
