Glamour Mag Party
On Saturday, I got to attend a fun girly Glamour Mag party hosted by notorious Seattle DJ, Girl Power Hour co-founder and Glambassador, Darnell Sue. While enjoying wine and tapas, we got to play with Almay’s newest line of make-up products, which turned out to be a big hit. All the samples were gone by the time I made my way to the table.

Every girl has insecurities. A lot of us hate our legs for various reasons. On top of the fact I wish mine were more tone (something I can work on), I’ll always be unhappy about how short they are (something I can’t). Which brings us to the topic of this post – the best shorts for girls who hate their legs, and more importantly, how to wear them. Special thanks to Judie for the suggestion and to Jess for seconding it!
The Favorite: Siwy Camilla Cut-Offs
While I’m always trying to discover the next hot pair of jeans, shorts are a little more sensitive – I find a style I like and stick with it. I got my Siwy Camilla cut-offs last summer and am convinced they are universally the best pair of denim shorts available. I’ve seen this brand on everyone from Nicole Richie to Beyonce – needless to say, Michelle Siwy is a genius at designing for all sorts of shapes.

Clutch Look: I Heart Norwegian Wood
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about some of my favorite Etsy designers where I mentioned I was contemplating a caged harness from I Heart Norwegian Wood. I ordered it a few days later and tried it out recently with a fairly simple look.
