I Heart Norwegian Wood Panelled Leggings
My newest wardrobe obsession is a new purchase from the edgy and talented Angie Johnson of I Heart Norwegian Wood. These new handmade leggings have so much personality and allow me to express my style without having to try.

The sequin embellishments weaved into the sheer black sections remind me of one of my favorite trends from NYFW shown in threeASFOUR’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection (see below). I’ve thought about ways to DIY this, but when I saw Angie’s latest leggings concoction, my craving was beyond satisfied.

I’ve actually worn them at least three times since purchasing them and have found they look best with simple tones and styles. Unless you’re in costume, you don’t want to mix too much wild with wild, but I’ve pushed the boundaries a little by wearing them with dramatic shoes (not in this outfit though).

Wearing:
- Dress: Zara
- T-shirt dress: American Apparel
- Leggings: I Heart Norwegian Wood
- Pumps: Steven

Exciting news! I Heart Norwegian Wood is designing an exclusive line for Shrimpton Couture. I’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon I can get my hands on some pics!

Those are awesome, no surprise there. So very cool, Angie!
Nice styling!
O wow!
Its a great piece, I am heading over and purchasing one or two for myself!
Thanks, you’re such an inspiration!
Oh my god – those are amazing. But I still feel sketchy about trying to pull of leggings. I don’t think they look right on me.
LOVE THEM!
♥
So sick!! I want some!
They look amazing on you, and I LOVED them with the other shoes as well, so fun! I actually don’t have any more of these in my shop right now, they sold out right away, but I’m shortly coming out with some black jersey with black sequined panels, and some other fun combos too, stay tuned!
I love these leggings! I don’t think just anyone can pull them off…I know I can’t, but you look just gorgeous in them! Great job Angie!
THOSE are amazing. I so want some!
They are sooo awesome. They remind me of the Doo.Ri tights from the fall collection, I was in love with those, I thought they transformed the collection.
Denise – Thx so much!
Anne – Aw, you made my day! She’s all out for the time being, but has some awesome new stuff in the works.
Lauren – I used to feel that way, but eventually got more comfortable. It’s also the only way I’ll actually wear some of my dresses. I’m super self conscious of my legs.
Mayk – Thx!
Erica – Stay tuned for the next version she comes up with! Such a good investment!
Angie – Can’t wait to see what you come up with next! PS I’m wearing my harness today!
Sara – You could totally pull them off, liar! The pattern isn’t really you’re thing, but I think they’d work for you if the tie-dye were replaced with black. Subtle edginess!
Birdie – Thx! Keep a look out for her next style!
FM – I’ll have to check out the Doo.Ri tights you’re talking about. Sounds familiar, but I can’t remember.
I love them! So unique!! I might have to put a pair on my wishlist…
Beautiful! I love them!
These tights are so interesting! I like them in the same way that I liked the Rodarte tights when I frist saw them!
Cool!
Those are beyond wicked cool!
Reminds me of Rodarte! Your styling is right on with this one BTW.
those leggings are a pair of art-piece! totally a labor of love and fashion innovation. I, or shall we say, you also, fearlessly think this the next big thing to leg wear!
