As of yesterday, the streets surrounding Bryant Park are filling up with herds of fabulous women (and a few men) adorned with overpriced clothing, judgemental glares and perfectly polished nails; accompanied by an aroma of Chanel perfume mixed with the smell of coffee and cigarette smoke. Oh New York Fashion Week, though I don’t fit the traditional stereotype of attendees, I’m very much looking forward to what you have in store for Spring/Summer 2010.

In the midst of attending a variety of runway presentations and social parties, I’m also working on a fun fashion week project for Microsoft Windows phone that involves Independent Fashion Bloggers and hanging out with Jennine, Crosby and Geri. Talk about work and play coming together in the perfect setting! My posts will be shorter and more frequent than usual because I want to share as much as I can in real time. I might even try to do a few mobile posts straight from the tents!

So far, the line-up includes Charlotte Ronson (also backstage hair/make-up from Avon), Christian Siriano, Leanne Marshall, Vivienne Tam, DVF, Custo Barcelona, Jill Stuart, Independent Fashion Bloggers Evolving Influence Panel & Dress Up Soiree (sponsored by Moxsie and Microsoft), Temperley London, G Star, and several others!
