Live from The Limited Pop-Up Store
Hi stylish friends! I’m blogging live from The Limited Pop Up Store in Soho for a holiday shopping party. It’s being hosted by Nicole Williams in light of her new book Girl On Top. Coincidentally, I got Windows 7 installed in my laptop today, so I’m immersing myself in that as I go (so far, it’s great).
The pop-up store opened in October and has been so successful, they decided to extend it until December 28. If you’re in NYC, check it out at 134 Spring Street.
6:50PM
I’m on a platform blogging and was dressed by a fab personal stylist named Anthony (more on him soon when I can track him down). They are having 40% off all night and I’m definitely going to take advantage. Lots of rich colors and sparkles with sleek black separates. Here’s what I’m wearing (will get better pics later) a sheer royal blue blouse over a royal blue sequin tank and black cropped skinny slacks with button detail down the calf:

CEO of The Limited, Linda Heasley, just got on stage and introduced Nicole Williams. Nicole is talking about mall food and what McDonald’s cheeseburgers do to your ass…LOL! Very dynamic duo! Nicole is presenting a fashion show in a few.

I also met Jen from The Limited (PR chica), who happens to be FROM SEATTLE! We obviously had lots to talk about. Love her in leopard…all she needs is a red clutch!

They are showing off different looks for holiday occasions. The first works for office or more of a polished environment, while the second is all party.

And Nicole brought her doggie..so cute! She was talking about gifts for colleagues here. As an owner of two dogs, I definitely agree that you can’t go wrong with those type of gifts for anyone with pets!

7:53 PM
After the presentation, Nicole surprised Linda with a Chanel bag that she was eyeing but couldn’t bring herself to buy (she’s a budget fashionista, after all). So cute and what a thoughtful gift!!! They’ve been on tour working together for several weeks.

With personal stylist, Anthony Sanchez (he dressed most the ladies tonight):

AND giving a Seattle “Passive Aggressive” pose with Jen from The Limited. How could we resist?

8:17 PM
Here are some more candids from the night. Now it’s time for me to get my shop on! I’m going to buy the Girl on Top too…which coincidentally takes the party discount from 40% to 50% off. This is way better than Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals!

8:27 PM
Special thanks to The Limited ladies for having me as a guest to live blog tonight and for the store credit to shop! I am always surprised by the pieces I find here (have several things from living in Seattle). I walk in expecting professional and walk out with party!
Also a very special thanks to my boyfriend Jordan for tagging along to take pics for me tonight! It’s our seven year anniversary of meeting tonight and he tries to be supportive. Here’s his typical stance at my “events.”

why are you so f’ing adorable? I miss you!!!!
Congrats to you and Jordan, I hope you took him out for a beer and some curry!
That shade of blue is great on you!
This looked like fun! Congrats to you and Jordan!!
Do those shoes have clear acrylic heels!??! :O
(They almost look like it from the first pic – and I can’t tell if they’re clear, or if they’re a wood-grain, in a color very close to the color of that platform)
You look amazing, J! I wish stuff like this happened in Seattle!
