There’s nothing like a new year to make you evaluate what you hope to improve in your life. So far, I’ve heard a lot about resolutions that involve self-improvement whether healthier lifestyles or putting oneself first. That said, what a great time to do a luxury giveaway! Have you heard about Yoogi’s Closet? It’s an online luxury consignment shop that offers high end pieces for up to 70% off. You can also sell quality items from your own closet too, sort of like a fancy, digitally savvy Buffalo Exchange!

Yoogi’s was founded in 2008 by Seattle couple Simon and Eugenia (aka Yoogi, pictured above) Han. It actually came about after Yoogi started selling bags and other lux pieces from her own closet…hence the name. Everything on the site is guarnateed authentic and the site has a 30 day return policy too, which is a lot more than I’ve seen for similar business models.

Not only can you splurge on that Balenciaga bag you’ve had your eye on with less guilt, but if you’re in for something more, you can find rare, high quality items from your favorite designers. For example, there were only 100 produced of the Louis Vuitton Galliera Almafitana Bag and Yoogi’s recently acquired and sold the first one ever made.

Selling to Yoogi’s Closet

Do you have any Tiffany’s jewelry or Chanel bags lying from ex boyfriends? What about designer shoes you had to have for one occassion that are tucked away in your closet? Check out the selling program for Yoogi’s. In short, once they receive your item(s), you’ll receive a sell quote within 24 hours. Depending on what you have, you can either sell directly to Yoogi’s and receive payment within 3-5 days, or you can go the consignment route and split the profits after the item sells (generally means more in your pocket if you’re willing to wait for the sale which takes up to 30 days on average).
