Some of you may already know this, but I’ve been spending time with the beautiful people behind Urban Signals (hearts for CEO Aubree Nichols) as they make their mark in the location-best social networking world. Urban Signals is a mobile application, currently available for the iPhone (others coming soon), that allows you to see users that are around you, if they are available and the option to connect with them right then and there.

One of my new blogger bff’s, Amy Chandra of Midtown Girl, knows all about Urban Signals (read her post here) and on Valentine’s Day she was featured on ABC World News demoing the application! WOW – I’m so proud of her and Aubree for this incredible segment, which is why I’m sharing here.

Though I have a serious bf, I’m very passionate about how technology is continuously changing the way we communicate and interact. Urban Signals is one of the first apps that takes connections from online to offline, which is something I’ve proactively experienced first hand in meeting some of my favorite bloggers and tweeters in person over the past year or so.
