HP’s Project Runway Experience
Last week, I had the delight of attending one of my favorite events so far. In light of HP’s partnership with Project Runway and the most recent episode where designers created their own textiles using tm2t Touchsmart PC’s, HP hosted an intimate brunch meet-up at Cellar Bar in the Bryant Park Hotel reenacting themes from the episode.

Attendees Project Runway finalists Seth Aaron Henderson, Emilio Sosa (the winner of the challenge) and Jay Nicholas Sario. Guest judge Vivienne Tam, one of my favorite designers and queen of fashionable tech, also attended. They had demo stations where attendees could design and print out their own textiles in the same way the contestants did on the episode.

In case you missed the episode (aired on Thursday, March 25), here’s the highlights reel to bring you up to speed…
Here’s how mine turned out. I wish I had this set up at home – I could entertain myself for HOURS!

Vivienne Tam used HP’s technology to create prints for her Spring/Summer 2010 collection including the newest digital clutch! Yuli and I grabbed her to strike a pose. I HEART Vivienne’s dress, which is expected to be in stores soon. Can’t wait!

You can see the rest of the pictures from the event here. Special thanks to HP (Greta, Adriana, Eric and the rest of the crew) for inviting me to be a part of this special experience!

How fun Jordy!!!
What a great event and you look lovely as always! Great to see a PC making efforts to become more design friendly.
Love your print too, will we see a new Clutch 22 logo soon? It’s so fun.
I’m slightly jealous that you got professional pics taken with Vivienne Tam haha I settled for a quick phone picture
Jealous! I wish I lived in NYC
