Kisses From Lulu Guinness!
Iconic British designer, Lulu Guinness has officially launched the US website, which includes e-commerce! In light of last week’s launch, I had the pleasure of meeting Lulu in person – what a delight!
The above collection of Lips clutches was on display at her launch event in Soho. I LOVE them and am seriously thinking about buying one. Very Carrie Bradshaw meets Andy Warhol – nothing could mimmick these, which is usually the only way I’ll splurge on lux designers. They are little pieces of art.
Which is your favorite? I’m sort of drawn to the flags, but also love the purple and orange. I don’t know though…I love them all! The good news is if you don’t have to be in NYC to buy one with the new online shop at www.luluguinness.com! They retail for about $350, which is pretty reasonable considering the personality it brings to any look.
Unfortunately, my camera died on the way over, but my gorgeous blogger buddy Amy Chandra of Midtown Girl did a quick interview with Lulu. It’s kind of loud in the background (prob. my fault!), but shows a lot of Lulu’s delightful personality and tidbits about the US site launch.

I fell in love with these bags the first time I saw them. I’m so excited she finally has a US site up and running. I know I’m on a budget but the Union Jack bag is a MUST BUY for me. YAY!
I love her bags and she has some great sample sales in NYC. I snagged some bags last year for $50 and $75!
Great video too!
I love Lulu Guinness, and have been coveting these bags for an age. She designs the most amazingly kooky things, and beautiful things. One of the first designer items I ever bought as a pair of Lulu Guinness Socks! They had little bobbles with the LG Monogram on the back….I wish I still had those socks *sigh*
They remind me of Miu Miu cat, strangely. Plus, there’s just something about these bags that make you want to go floral with your dresses.
These are too cute to pass up! You’re so right about them being worth it as they would make any ensemble! I love the flag ones, but you can’t go wrong with red (for a Gwen Stefani look) or metallic (the ultra Carrie Bradshaw look). Great post!
