TOMS Calypso Wedge – A Stylish Step Up
I’ve always wanted to buy a pair of TOMS, especially considering they donate a pair to someone in need with every purchase, but could never decide on a color. As soon as I saw the new Calypso Wedge, I couldn’t wait any longer. They retail for about $69 and come in multiple colors. I bought the red stripe style, perfect for the upcoming July 4 holiday (and my bday, which is July 3) and they arrived yesterday. I originally wanted the orange stripe or mint, but they sold out in most sizes pretty quickly. It looks like Nordstrom is carrying the red stripe and navy stripe styles too, but I haven’t seen them for sale anywhere else…yet.
I usually wear and 7-7.5 in shoes. After reading reviews, I went with a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. They are also SO comfortable so far, but I haven’t taken them for a true NYC walk yet. I’ll report back if I find otherwise.
Apparently, my dogs like them too! What do you think? Would you buy them?
I get the desire to support a company (Toms) that does great works, but I simply don’t get the appeal of Toms shoes style-wise. If they are comfy, then I suppose that’s something. Sorry, not feeling ‘em!

I didn’t love the first designs of the shoes but loved the cause, now I’ve been wanting a pair. Especially this wedge design. It’s nice to see them in pics, I think I might need to snag a pair for summer.
they are cute! I probably wouldn’t wear them with most of my outfits but I’m thinking that these might make the perfect shoes when I’m photographing summer weddings!
Honestly, I think most TOMS shoes are crazy ugly. These are cute though, and I’d totally wear them!
I still wear the sparkle TOMS I won through your site and they’re super comfortable – I’d be surprised if the wedges aren’t super comfy to walk in. I think these are perfect – glad you got the red.
I want these SO BAD! Regular TOMS look terrible on me, and when I saw these I wanted them immediately! If you like them so much I’ll have to get a pair! Are they comfortable to walk in all day? That’s key

OMG!!! I LOOOOOOVE Toms!!!!! I wear them 6 days a week… unfortunately, I have a horrible tan line to prove it. I have GOT to get these wedges!!!!! SOOOO CUTE!
