Mystery Box Revealed: Introducing TOMS EYEWEAR!
A few minutes ago, TOMS EYEWEAR was announced as the product to transform TOMS from a shoe company to a one-to-one company. For every pair of sunglasses sold, sight will be given to someone in need. As you’ll see in the video, there are more than 165 million people in the world with vision impairments.
Founder Blake Mycowskie first introduced the mystery box during his keynote at SxSW. Nordstrom, one of TOMS largest retailers and a supporter from the beginning, hosted a live broadcast via uStream as well as multiple in store unveiling events. The sunglasses are in the $100-150 range and TOMS website has tons of styles available. I’m sure Nordstrom will also be among the first to carry the shades.
