Gap Wants Your Old Jeans to Build Houses + Get 40% on a New Pair
As some of you know, I’ve always been a sucker for coupon codes and instant dicsounts, especially if there is something warm and fuzzy attached. Well… Gap is launching a new program tomorrow (October 6) that essentially gives you 30% off new Gap 1969 blues by bringing in your old jeans, which they will then recycle to insultate houses! Check out the video above to get an idea. Talk about “warm and fuzzy!”
It gets better! Facebook fans get an additional 10% of. If you do the math, that’s 40% off total from $69.50…you pay $41.70 plus tax, saving almost $30. My two favs from the denim collection are the dark Vintage Flare and dark Forever Skinny.

SPUN Spring 2010: Fanciful & Frilly
Let me kick this off by saying if you’re familiar with this site, you’ll know I’m a huge fan and supporter of SPUN Clothing. Sara Seumae, the Seattle-based designer, has become a very dear friend of mine since we met in 2008 after I reviewed some pieces from her line.

She’s working on the launch of her sping 2010 collection and though I of course, can’t wait to get my hands on it, the story behind it is too good not to share.
