Midtown Girl + Urban Signals on ABC!
Some of you may already know this, but I’ve been spending time with the beautiful people behind Urban Signals (hearts for CEO Aubree Nichols) as they make their mark in the location-best social networking world. Urban Signals is a mobile application, currently available for the iPhone (others coming soon), that allows you to see users that are around you, if they are available and the option to connect with them right then and there.
One of my new blogger bff’s, Amy Chandra of Midtown Girl, knows all about Urban Signals (read her post here) and on Valentine’s Day she was featured on ABC World News demoing the application! WOW - I’m so Read the rest of this entry »
IFBCon @ NYFW: Tune In Live Today!
While bloggers from all over the world have made their way to New York Fashion Week, one of the most highly anticipated events doesn’t even involve a runway. The first ever international fashion blogger conference kicks off today thanks to Independent Fashion Bloggers. I have the pleasure of moderating the first panel kicking off at 10am EST on fashion blog marketing. Even if you’re not attending, you can peek inside the conference throughout the day because we are going to live stream at: http://heartifb.com/evolving-influence-live! Additionally, we have four bloggers planning to do live updates on their blogs - one during each panel (see below for more details).

We’re also doing a few giveaways to attendees at the conference. Windows 7, who will have an ”experience station” at the venue with new computers for bloggers Read the rest of this entry »

I thought I’d try something new and share this confused moment with you to see what you think upon first seeing it.

So…what do you think? Is it cool, nasty, artistic, creepy or something else? Would you wear it? What if I told you it was made from fossils Read the rest of this entry »
Jesica Milton’s SS10 “Jordie” Dress
Prior to New York Fashion Week and the Independent Fashion Bloggers Dress Up Soiree, I had a dream come true thanks to Jesica Milton, an amazing contemporary designer based in Seattle. She designed a “Jordie” dress for me to wear to the Dress Up event and let me into her studio to see show me the creation process first hand. WOW!

On top of the honor that comes with having a piece named after me, to actually see it come from concept to reality felt like a real life Project Runway experience…and I got to be the model! Below is a slide show of the dress from Read the rest of this entry »
